My touchstones
Dr. Gerald Jampolsky (1925- 2020) — Jampolsky has many published books.
GOOD-BYE TO GUILT: RELEASING FEAR THROUGH FORGIVENESS
Best short description. In fact, this is what made me decide ACIM was what I was looking for.
I will always trust Dr. Wapnick, (1939-2022) the most for answering specitfic questions.
Dr. Schucman (1909 - 1981) between 1965 and 1972 wrote what she was told in the manner of dictation recording her own shorthand to stacks and stacks of steno pads. The next day or so, Dr. Schucman and her boss Dr. Bill Thetford (1923-1988) transcribed the dictation.
There is a timeline how these folks all came together, but Dr. Wapnick was practically the next person on the scene. He found stacks and stacks of personal dictation that was transcribed into a stack of typewritten paper.
Dr. Wapnick added the Chapters, Sections, and punctuation. Dr. Wapnick was a stickler for the integrity of the dictation. His capitalization was added and no one ever seemed to dispute it. I think everyone involved at this point knew they were getting the material ready for publication.
Wapnick has tons of writings published and YouTubes (free to watch). Dr. Wapnick is definitely a deep dive.
