Why Democrats will cave on the CR while tricking the left that they are fighting

Can we stop the charade?

The Democratic Party members in that “Congress” of ours are the Washington Generals paid to lose to the Harlem Globetrotters. Not content with merely kissing the ring of the dictator in the WH who dictates to his sycophantic Congress in both chambers, the Senate Democrats are putting on a play for the American public to boot. Feigning resistance while all the while knowing they will cave.

Chuck Schumer indicated that the GOP passed the CR without any input from Democrats and that they want a “clean” CR that will keep government open and give time to negotiate. The GOP don’t have the votes by themselves but here is the scheme…

The Republicans will offer Dems an amendment vote (which will fail), and then the Dems will forthwith pass the CR anyway (by not filibustering allowing a bare majority to pass)

This level of cowardice would be bad if it were a one off event but THIS is the state of the party: devoid of leadership, ignorant of the mood of their base, and totally incompetent when faced with a grave moment in the history of our country.

Primary these Dems that refuse to fight people. The disease of Trump, MAGA, and oligarchy can be defeated but first we need Representatives that are on our side not simply actors who lie to us to appease our justifiable rage at the Trump government.

If the Democrats don’t force the GOP to end the government shutdown and aid them in destroying this country then they are guilty too. Fight or make way for those who will!
