Trump is the man behind the curtains

Oval Office.

The original title was, Trump Steals the Declaration of Independence. Then I thought a little bit.

This is not the original in the National Archives, which is in a carefully  controlled environment, behind bulletproof glass.

You can see the faded paper and writing.

The one Trump has looks like it was written yesterday.

But there must be something special about it.

He just had to get that stupid foam board map of the Gulf of America in the picture.

He's taking some special glee about having it. The curtains are kind of ridiculous, but so is Trump. He could have done better than black. Red would have been okay, or blue.

He did talk about having the one in the National Archives moved to his office, leaving those of us who own it, never to see it again.

He had to have help opening the curtains. Just kidding.

We'll hear where it came from later. All Trump did was put the pictures up on Truth Social. No text. Only two pictures on X.

It was delivered to him by the National Archives, and that's all that is known.

Neither the White House or the National Archives responded to inquires of what version of the document it is.

Maybe it's curtains for Donald Trump. It could be literally or figuratively.
