Presumed Guilty

The statement of the red-shirted man on the right is pretty close to a direct quote that I remember being said by a Republican caller to a phone-in radio show during the Bush-Cheney administration.

So, there are self-proclaimed “patriots” living among us who believe that anyone who is accused of being a very bad person is not deserving of a trial and should be presumed guilty. And I suppose that they think of the Bill of Rights as a bunch of radical far-left liberal garbage --with the exception of the second half of the Second Amendment.
