I’ve watched in anger, horror, and dismay over the past weeks as the fascist regime in the White House continues its assault on the fundamental tenets of what truly makes our country great. It occurred to me that growing anger and outrage could be channeled toward something greater. The fascists had their Project 2025 plan which they are now wielding as a weapon on our rights and freedoms.
What if we the people had our Project 2029? An equally aspirational plan that seeks to reset the balance of government away from the oligarchs and back to the people.
Our current system is failing too many people. Healthcare remains a privilege instead of a right, wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few while millions struggle, and corruption erodes trust in our government. Women’s rights, racial justice, and environmental protections are under constant attack. It’s time for a new Bill of Rights—one that guarantees fairness, dignity, and opportunity for all.
This New Bill of Rights enshrines fundamental protections: universal healthcare, fair wages, free and fair elections, an end to corruption, and the right to bodily autonomy. It affirms that every person deserves a government that works for them, not for special interests. It recognizes that justice, security, and a livable planet are not luxuries but necessities.
If we want a democracy that truly serves the people, we must demand these rights. We must stand together and refuse to accept a system that leaves so many behind. A better future is possible—but only if we fight for it. Let’s make these rights a reality.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the new Bill of Rights.
