Big news today out of Pennsylvania:

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING
Democrat James Malone DEFEATS Republican County Commissioner Josh Parsons in the special election for Pennsylvania SD-36 — FLIPPING a district Trump carried by 15.4% in the 2024 election.
A huge upset victory for the Democrats.

PA SD-36 (State Senate 36) Results (update):
🔵 ✅ James Malone (D) - 26,951 (50.0%)
🔴 Josh Parsons (R) - 26,469 (49.1%)
🟡 Zachary Moore (L) - 480 (0.9%)
With 100% reporting, Malone wins by 482 votes.

Also, Pennsylvania Democrats also retained their one seat majority in the Pennsylvania State House:
