Trump and his legal lackies have been playing Where’s Waldo with our legal system. The Supreme Court in a 9-0 decision mandated that Kilmar Abrego Garcia was denied due process before his deportation to El Salvador’s brutal prison. Trump was ordered to “facilitate” his return to the United States. Trump’s reaction—YAWN. In court case after court case, judges have ruled against Trump and his attorneys, but so far the obvious enforcement of these myriad court rulings, contempt charges, have not been forthcoming. It is long past time for this recalcitrance to file contempt charges against Trump lawyers to end. Throw their asses in jail until they obey the court rulings. If and when Trump and his sycophants appeal to the Supremes and they rule against, then we will likely see Trump directly violate the Constitutional order. In that case, let the nonviolent revolution take to the streets. Then there will be no ambiguity regarding Trump’s desire to be a dictator if there ever was. As long as the courts refuse to hold Trump’s lawyers accountable, this entire process becomes a farce. Drop the damn hammer NOW.
