china's victory lap

the market rises for the 2d day in a row when elon’s chump announces that he MIGHT reconsider china’s tariffs.  i think i remember somewhere that asian culture places large amounts of value on “face”.  ergo. china hasn’t backed off their tariffs. will they? why should they?  it’s because they are waaaay better negotiators than anything that the current administration has to offer.  so they back off a little bit, but have gained a good amount.  our poor farmers. our poor longshoremen. our poor auto workers. our poor truck drivers.  guess what, that short term pain is getting longer.  not so much for elon’s chump’s billionaire friends.  and china takes a victory lap.
