The Tillamook Air Museum, housed in a World War II Navy Blimp Hanger in Tillamook, Oregon, has a BAC Jet Provost, a British jet trainer that was used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) from 1955 to 1993. It was produced by the British Aircraft Company (BAC).
The Jet Provost was originally designed by Hunting Percival from the earlier piston-powered Percival Provost. It first flew in 1954. A total of 734 were built.
This aircraft has a top speed of 410 mph, a cruising speed of 390 mph, a range of 700 miles, and a ceiling of 36,750 feet.
