Climate and peace activist, Greta Thunberg, landed in Paris today after Israeli military forces detained her and other passengers onboard a freedom flotilla yacht called, the Madleen, in international waters during their voyage to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
You have to watch her full press conference to appreciate her intelligence, maturity, and stamina to fight for what’s right and equal for every human. At the end of the presser, one reporter asked her why so many [Western] governments are basically ignoring what is happening in Gaza. Thunberg quickly replied — the simple answer is racism.
I am super impressed by this young woman’s courage and she handled this press briefing (after just landing at de Gaulle) so brilliantly. She stays focused with her answers of wanting to pressure more governments to end global suffering and provide a better future for all: passionately, indiscriminately, and immediately.
