Patriots defend the US Constitution ratified June 21, 1788 with all 27 amendments the last being in 1992.
It was the liberals of the day who wanted independence from England. It was the liberals of the day whose oratory spurred men AND women to fight mad King George.
It was the liberals of the day who were abolitionists. The Republican party fronting Abraham Lincoln WAS the liberal party. When PragerU graduates try to spin this as the parties never switched, ask them if the Republican party of today is the liberal party, and watch them sputter.
Anti slavery is a liberal position. If that’s not apparent to you now, watch a few videos of atheists questioning Christian callers to their shows (on youtube, 1, 2, 3 there are more) over the issue of Biblically endorsed/condoned slavery.
The second American revolution the Heritage Foundation promotes is one where our current US Constitution is rent asunder and a new constitution is voted on.

ALEC, along with the Convention of States (COS) and many wealthy businessmen, have been leading voices in the calls for an Article V Convention, which they see as a crucial step to implementing their agenda, which goes even farther in extremism than the Project 2025 Agenda.
Are they actually getting close?
There are different campaigns calling for a constitutional convention, with one requiring a Balanced Budget Amendment (BBA) leading the charge with 28 of the required 34 states. Next is COS with 19 states calling for one.
But while the far right extremists and ALEC fall short of the 34-state threshold to call a convention on their own, they are trying to come up with underhanded legal theories that would allow them to count states’ old, defunct, and unrelated calls for a convention towards their total.
For example, California has made seven different calls for a convention, the most recent calling for an amendment on gun safety. None are related to any of the leading calls for a convention, but ALEC wants to count their call anyway.

Some Democratic officials are more concerned than ever. In California, a Democratic state senator, Scott Wiener, introduced legislation on Monday that would rescind the state’s seven active calls for a constitutional convention, the first such move since Donald J. California is a target in more ways then one. Can American Legislative Exchange Council, (ALEC) lose California for their propertied number to trigger a Convention of States? Trump has declared the “liberation” of California from it’s democratically elected governor important.
Indeed, the close alignment between ALEC’s agenda and Project 2025 is no coincidence. ALEC leaders served on the advisory board of Project 2025 and played an active role in shaping its blueprint for a second Trump administration. It’s called “Essential Policy Solutions” (Project 2025 by any other name) guts funding for public education, deregulates everything, bust unions, boosts the fossil fuel industry. And voting rights . . .
Despite a long, well-documented track record of voter suppression and fighting to limit democratic participation, ALEC now says it wants to protect us from those who would “experiment with the precious American right of suffrage.” For the upcoming legislative session, this means pushing bills opposing an interstate compact to ensure that Electoral College votes are cast for whomever wins the popular vote for president, as well as others that ban ranked choice voting and noncitizen voting (which is already illegal in federal elections). Like with everything else, they can’t be straight forward with their plans because most Americans will not go along with it. That’s why they are undermining the will of the people in Missouri and other states.
But the left ARE the patriots that brought about this country. The backers of the red coats and King George wanted the status quo, scared of progress. The red coats of yesterday are the red hats of today.
Kevin Roberts knew that the left, the real patriots, would and will fight for the US Constitution as we did in the past. With Project 2025, by any name, war was declared on the US with the intent to drive us backward
They tried to take the word “patriot” from liberals, but that word is OURS.
They tried to take the US flag from us, but the flag is OURS.
They tried to make liberal a dirty word, but liberals made this country.
Tomorrow we will show the world we are NOT going back to a king.
Tomorrow, even if they are upside down in the signal of distress, we will see a sea of US flags.
We must remain peaceful.
MAGA may try and be agent provocateurs to discredit us (I added a camping fire extinguisher to my backpack just in case). We need to be on top of them, taking pictures, turning them in, and de-escalation if they manage to bait someone on our side into engaging.
Sing songs, dance, wear something to make people smile(I saw someone in a rainbow tux last protest), buy a blowhorn etc.
