God, I hope these videos don’t get scrubbed by CBS before you guys get to watch them. Because these are some damn fine performances. Great? Yes. It was a fabulous season.

Hi! I’m Itzl!
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

Just In Time, “Mack the Knife”
Jonathan Groff (from my hometown!) plays Bobby Darin in this jukebox musical. He lost Best Leading Actor to Darren Criss. Here he is, with the Company.
Operation Mincemeat, “Born to Lead”
Jak Malone won for Best Featured Actor (musical). This is still the show I’d most like to see. Just too much fun. Based on a real operation during WWII.
Real Women Have Curves, “Jugglin’”
This show was nominated for two Tonys, including Best Original Score and Best Featured Actress (musical) for Justina Machado. Here she is, with Tatianna Córdoba and the Company.
Buena Vista Social Club, “Candela”
This is the other one I most would like to see. It was nominated for Best Orchestrations, and the band won a special Tony. It looks wonderful, and sounds terrific.
Pirates! The Penzance Musical, “Sail the Ocean Blue/Washboards”
...the Penzance musical, if Penzance was New Orleans, lol. David Hyde Pierce was robbed! The show was nominated for Best Revival (musical), and I wouldn’t turn down the chance to see it.
Have a fabulous day!
