Anybody with two brain cells to rub together saw this coming. The gaslighting began years ago when Sean Spicer (yes, the same man who thought Dancing with the Stars could erase his “alternative facts” legacy) stood at a podium and swore that Trump had the largest inauguration crowd of all time. 🙄
Well, the White House is back on its BS—this time claiming Trump’s rain-soaked military parade was some record-breaking spectacle. Meanwhile, the media is barely blinking at the 11 million people who attended the No Kings Day protests nationwide.
And that’s not even counting the smaller, decisive actions popping off in red states.
Let’s get into it—because the lies are loud, but the truth? Louder.
Trump’s Parade Fantasy vs. Reality
Let me get this straight: Trump throws himself a rain-drenched pity parade in D.C., barely fills the seats, and suddenly his folks are claiming 250,000 patriots showed up like it’s the Super Bowl? Baby, please. Even Elon Musk’s own chatbot, Grok had to step in and say, “Uh… that’s not true.” Official permits capped the whole thing at 200k total, and news outlets on the ground reported way less. But the White House and their media lapdogs want to blow it up like it was Beyoncé at Coachella. 🙄
11 Million Marchers, and the Press Can’t Count?
Meanwhile, 11 million—yes, million with an M—marched across the U.S. on No Kings Day, standing up to authoritarianism and saying loud and proud: we do not do kings in America. The Alt National Park Service confirmed those numbers and said totals are still climbing. But here comes the mainstream press downplaying it:
Y’all serious?
Go ahead—Google “11 Million No Kings Day.”
Crickets, right? The only ones telling the truth were the folks at the Alt National Park Service. Everyone else either lowballed the numbers or ignored them completely.
Sigh. Journalism is on vacation again.
Let’s Call It What It Is: Media Gaslighting
They’ll boost Trump’s sad little fantasyland but won’t shine a real spotlight on a peaceful, record-breaking, democratic uprising? This isn’t just negligence—it’s manipulation.
LA Protests Smell Like a Setup
And don’t even get me started on what’s going down in California. The LA unrest? It’s starting to smell like COINTELPRO with AI filters. We know how Trump operates. Stir chaos, cry emergency, then reach for martial law like it’s his comfort blankie. And now a federal appeals court just gave him clearance to move in: “Trump can deploy California National Guard to LA.” You really think the timing of these “escalating protests” in LA is a coincidence?
Who’s Actually Violent?
While progressives march peacefully, the violence is coming from the right. In fact, the only real thuggery during the “No Kings Protest” occurred in Minnesota, when 57-year-old Vance Boeltera shot and killed Democratic lawmakers. The man is an avid Trump supporter and pro-life extremist.
But who gets called dangerous?
Us.
Final Word
Nah. We see you. We see the lies, the staged distractions, and the creeping strategy to break this country so Trump can “fix” it with tanks in the streets and lies on the news.
You wanna talk about patriotism? Try standing in the rain with 11 million voices demanding liberty.
Not hiding behind a balloon and a flag while the truth gets buried. To all who had the guts and the heart to be there bravo. History will be kind.
***A side note.
I have an offer that allows me to move out of the country (VISA aid) and I am seriously considering it. This is leaving me and the sub stack a wee bit in flux—it may be in limbo or—I am not sure.
Confusing, scary and exciting all at once. Bringing pets and kiddos with me if I do. But if you want to read more from me I invite you do so here. And thanks for your support these years—always appreciated and loved.
Thank you.
