Assassin Vance Boelter was arrested a short while ago near his Green Isle home in Sibley County after a sprawling manhunt involving more than 100 officers.

While he had dreams of starting a home security company, Boelter worked odd hours for firms that recover bodies in the Twin Cities, and rented a room at a home in Minneapolis where he stayed a few days a week while he was on call, according to his roommates, who were questioned by the FBI on Sunday.

Authorities aren’t ruling out the possibility the suspect had help planning or executing the shootings, Evans, of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, said, but so far no evidence has emerged that he did.
There is evidence that the suspect has been speaking to people as he remains on the run, Evans said.
"He’s certainly been in contact with individuals," Evans said. "Whether or not they’re providing active assistance, I can’t provide that.”
Let’s be glad that authorities got him alive. Hopefully, he will spill some beans about who else might be behind this, how such shadowy figures might be operating and who might be funding them.
