Here I go again, making an ask

We are a majority minority school where we emphasize positive aspects, but also recognize that we need to address the whole child. Too many of our young people today have suffered traumas, whether psychological or physical. We have a whole school effort to address issues of mental health, social and emotional learning, various differences among our students. Our diverse teaching and administrative staff works hard to provide them with positive role models, including in the topics they study and the books they read.  This is a large ask, but an important one that I am now making. I hope the generosity shown towards my previous asks will continue, to benefit our wonderful students.

This will greatly expand the range of books students can access during our regular free reading periods, and encourage them as well to read more on their own.
