Raw Story has a rather uplifting story about how Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino needed to take a break from his usual routine of harassment and intimidation today (Sunday) to answer a call of nature in a St Paul Target store, accompanied by a number of his masked and heavily armed goons. It did not go over well at all with the startled shoppers there:
A shocking video circulating on social media on Sunday appeared to show protesters, activists, and some shoppers at a Target in St. Paul, Minnesota hounding Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino and a caravan of agents after they stopped by the store for a bathroom break.
The video was published by Ford Fisher, editor-in-chief of News2Share, and showed Bovino quickly exiting the men's restroom in Target and making his way to the exit. He was surrounded by Customs and Border Patrol agents, one of whom was also recording the interaction. Along the way, Bovino and the agents were berated with comments like "F--- you!" and "You're a f------ coward."
"Gout out! Nobody wants you here!" someone can be heard shouting at the agents.
The video was published at a time when immigration agents are receiving increased criticism following the murder of 37-year-old Renee Good, a mother and American citizen, in Minneapolis last week. Good's murder sparked protests and calls for Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to either resign or be impeached.
Sen. Reuben Gallego called out the agents for trying to create "tension" in the community.
"What US citizen wants to go shopping on a Sunday and see armed masked men walking around?" Gallego posted on X. "Target on a Sunday morning is not a war zone. Treating it like it is creates the tension you see here."

Unfortunately, I couldn’t manage to embed from BlueSky, so this will have to suffice, but it’s good to see ordinary people aren’t willing to put up with this sort of fascist cosplay. It seems that earlier these same (?) thugs had kidnapped two teenage employees at this same Target, and then threw one out of their truck several blocks away to leave him bleeding on the ground when they discovered he wasn’t an ‘illegal’ after all. Karma can be a real b*tch sometimes!
