There was a report that Ukraine and Moldova have imposed a blockade on Transnistria, designed to disrupt logistics for the 1,500-man Russian occupation force. That report was reposted by a lot of accounts but it turned out to be wrong — although it ought to be true. A blockade is a good idea. Force the Russians to leave.

Euromaidan Press reports that as of January 1, Ukraine and Moldova have imposed a total blockade on the so-called Transnistria. All checkpoints have been closed, and the movement of goods and people is now only possible following rigorous inspections.

That was wrong. The gas transit ended as scheduled. Ukraine's border has been closed since 2022. No new coordinated action occurred. We apologize for the misleading information.
