UPDATE: Raw Story this morning (Tuesday) further corroborates: creating car accidents has been a Border Patrol practice. For a long time. Including to justify shooting.
Decade-old probe found immigration agents stepped in front of cars to justify shooting
"...U.S. Customs and Border Protection attempted to block a scathing 21-page report in 2014 that found agents had deliberately stepped in the path of cars to justify shooting at drivers and fired gunshots in frustration at individuals throwing rocks from the Mexican side of the border, reported the Los Angeles Times in February 2014...."

ICE agent: "Have you not learned? This is why we killed that lesbian bitch."
This post, to say it right off, is not about just one more incident. There are a lot more "one more incidents" so that now this person writes
Examples: ICE Watch group on Reddit
(To see the ramming clearly you have to pause the video right about at the first frame.)
Now listen to this victim/witness interview
("Whipple" is the Bishop Henry Whipple detention facility in Minneapolis where members of Congress were denied entry yesterday.)
My hands are fucked up....
So first off, I'm a United States Marine veteran. They --
We were following them from a safe distance...following ICE agents. They tried -- they stopped in the middle of the road and reversed, on 62. They tried to ram our car. They tried to get us into a bottleneck. Once I saw a police officer from Minota Heights. I tried to wave them down, and they funneled us straight into ICE'S hands.
(deep breath)
Once in ICE's hands, they broke my window, they yanked me out by my neck, they threw me to the ground, they stomped on me, they pushed my face into the ground. They put the cuffs on as tight as possible, to the point where it took six agents to try to get them off...
Btw, Brockell -- who posted this on Bluesky -- is a former WaPo reporter.
REPORTER: As they're doing this are they saying anything?
Yeah, they're calling me a bunch of derogatory names, calling me "it."
They tried to break my ankle. When he turned my ankle all the way around, I screamed, and he said, "Yeah, I bet you fucking like that, don't you?
(snip)
They're enjoying it. They're 100% absolutely enjoying it.
They literally said in there [Whipple], they said, "Have you not learned? This is why we killed that lesbian bitch." You think they feel sorry about that at all?

In another part of the interview, she says an agent who was driving her to Whipple stopped and pulled her out of the car to beat her again.
She says she told the agent she would be at his trial at Nuremberg.
“They’re enjoying it,” she told @statuscoupnews.bsky.social.

Another report. Jason Chavez is a member of the Minneapolis city council:
Response:
Clarification:
I'm not sure if this is the same incident. Video:
Pepper sprayed directly in the face.
Also: notice the fired-up citizens!
The following post corroborates the mind-set described in the interview with Skye (post is marked as visible only to logged-in users of Bluesky, so screen-shot only here, but I transcribe).
...ICE said that we were obstructing their operation even though there were no cars. We were not in an active raid, there were no cars ahead of them, we were just behind them, and they said we were obstructing.
Before they arrested us, an agent came and sprayed pepper spray into the vent of our car, even though we'd not done anything. We'd not done anything! Nothing!
And then they came back, broke the windows, took us out of the car, arrested us, and then the driver of the car, the same one that sprayed the pepper spray in, proceeded to say -- proceeded to say, "You guys need to stop, um, you need to stop, uh, obstructing us, that's why that lesbian bitch is dead."
And they were talking about Renee Nicole Good....
I took the liberty to borrow some of what follows here from a comment I made on another diary.
