Happy Tuesday the 13th!

Friday the 13th is said to be an unlucky day. Tuesday the 13th is probably just going to be stupid, though.

Not because of the 13 so much as due to Trump supposedly being president. And in all likelihood, the 14th will be even dumber.

I don’t have to tell you what I think is in store for the 15th through the 31st of this month, of course. And there’s no indication that things reset, come February.

It is what it is!

Today’s countdown numbers:

• 17 days until funding for most of the government ends again, and we face another shutdown
• 1,103 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office — lottery number!
• 294 days until the midterm elections, if we have them
• 355 days—if we have those elections—until we seat that new Congress.
