Maureen Dowd and the New York Times has usually infuriated us. But at this moment in time perhaps we should accept good help when it is displayed so well as this:

Trump Redux is infatuated with drone strikes and airstrikes, tumescent with the power of the world’s greatest military, hungry to devour the hemisphere in one imperialistic gulp. He plucked the dictator of Venezuela out of his compound to plunder that country’s oil. He’s threatening Iran with military action. He demands that protesters in Iran not be killed, while stoking tension against protesters in Minnesota…
He has infuriated Denmark, formerly one of the most pro-American countries in Europe, by warning he will strike a deal to get Greenland “the easy way” or will get it “the hard way.” He threatened on Friday to slap tariffs on nations that resist his effort to grab Greenland. His belittling boasts about swallowing Canada helped drive our nicest neighbor into the arms of China…
Donald of Deliria is wallowing in brute force.
She and the editors at the NYT are NOW finally detailing lots of iDJT's failures , (aggravating as hell in that he has obviously failed at anything positive as we here have been saying for soooo long, and the obvious support they have given him in the past)
So , great.
When trump has lost these people at the top of the opinion makers in NYC's jabbering class, may it prove a final straw in GOP circles and help result in
* iDJT's impeachment in the House
* conviction in the Senate
* prosecution by a reformed DOJ (whenever that happens)
* jailtime for he and his fellow criminals
* seizure of ill gotten criminal gains
* total humiliation
* followed by elections of Democrat majorities and the beginnings of actual repair to his victims and
* restoration of the USA as the great country it used to be in this world...I could go on, but...

I carpooled with an older Catholic fella, perhaps a Jesuit, who would twist me in knots over issues of the day, mostly Nixon and Reagan.
He would ask: 'what's your positive alternative then ?
I would rant to impeach or rebel or strike or some other go to besides 'wish the problem away', so, I never convinced him of anything. It was too obvious that NOT THEM was not a convincing argument. ( He is probably argueing somewhere we are a republic, not a democracy. He is/was an ace quibbler.)
So rereading MoDo's whine about her old friend, xNYC resident Donald, never did she mention ANY positive solutions.
None.
The obvious impeachment/ conviction/ arrest/ prosecution/ jailing/ asset seizure/ shunning never crosses her page.
The Weenie eating editors and owners at the NYT, famous for suggesting someone is 'too far out over their skis' I would assert, without evidence, would have edited any such solutions discussion right out. They also, I must add, to their credit, have also recently offered other editorial criticisms of Agent Orange as well. Credit for that, asses covered.
NYT criticizing trump?
