The following images were selected from the DKos image library for the “Save the Images” project. There are hundreds of beautiful sunrise and sunset images in the library, and it was impossible to include all of them given time constraints. Since I had to make difficult choices, I tried to select a sample from a broad range of locations — which means, unfortunately, that I didn’t include any of the lovely photos where the uploader didn’t give any hint of the location. If you have favorite sunrise or sunset images that are not included, please post them in the comments.
