Most campaigns aren’t even on the ground yet.
But we never stopped.
This week, our expansion efforts came to life on the Cocopah Reservation in Yuma County — and the results are exactly why year-round organizing works.
Roxy, our newest field organizer, spent days hand-delivering hundreds of flyers across the community. Then she hosted a community-centered event: Breakfast Burritos & Voter Info To-Go.
Not a flashy rally.
Not a consultant-designed digital blast.
Just real conversations. Real food. Real people.
Because civic participation shouldn’t live only online. It should live in our neighborhoods, our parking lots, our community spaces — wherever people gather.
And when you show up consistently, people respond.
The Results Speak for Themselves
At one single community event:
+ 4 first-time voters registered
+ 24 voter registrations checked and updated
+ Dozens of conversations about the 2026 midterm elections
+ An entire community engaged and eager to stay informed
That’s what relational organizing looks like.
That’s what happens when you invest in a local organizer who lives in community, understands the culture, and builds trust face-to-face.
And Roxy isn’t slowing down. She’s already planning another event this Friday to keep the momentum going.
Because momentum is everything.
Why This Matters
Communities like Cocopah are too often invisible to statewide campaigns until the last few weeks before an election. By then, it’s too late to build trust.
We do it differently.
We organize year-round.
We build relationships over time.
We mentor new voters.
We answer questions before confusion sets in.
We make sure no one is left behind simply because they don’t have the privilege of navigating complicated systems alone.
This is how you grow an electorate.
This is how you expand turnout.
This is how you build durable political power.
Will You Help Us Expand This Work?
