A closed-door meeting Saturday at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof between U.S. lawmakers and Danish and Greenlandic leaders deteriorated into what multiple participants describe as a heated and deeply inappropriate confrontation led by Lindsey Graham.
The account, first detailed by Danish outlet Berlingske and supported by earlier reporting from Puck, paints a picture of a diplomatic session that veered sharply off course.
Sources in the room said Graham was “visibly drunk” and “smelled of alcohol.”
The meeting took place around 11 a.m. This is Graham immediately after that meeting - still shithoused.
The video at the link shows Graham looking and sounding like some rando in a bar, long after he should have been cut off.

Graham is right about one thing. NATO is getting serious about defense spending because of Trump — now that the U.S. is being seen as a threat. Graham’s behavior only reinforces that.

Please tell me we don’t have to wait for Graham to drink himself into rehab before he is removed from the political scene. It’s hard to believe he ever had any credibility.
