I wanna believe... but it's not easy...

I’m sorry… I cannot buy the idea that we are in for a grand sweep, big broom kinda thing in the fall. I’ve been let down TWICE about thinking we were gonna win and win HUGE, and had it turn out that we were instead on the back end of things. 

Makes NO sense, but there it is.  I see stories where the Orange Skidmark has a $1.5B war chest for the fall that will be used to beat us on the head. I see conflicting stories about the economy, yes, it’s up, no, it’s in the toilet… ok, which is it? 

I am particularly down right now, probably because I just finished Maggie Haberman’s book on trump and I could not be more disgusted… the guy is a bleeding sore. On top of that, I just read the transcripts of the Nixon Tapes; drumpf makes Nixon looks like an innocent choirboy. I just can’t do it anymore. I’ll work (Missouri is NOT gonna go blue or even lightest purple; too many hard heads.) and I’ll vote, but I will do it with a heavy, informed, experienced heart that will not be broken again. 

Can’t handle it.
