Is this Gods vengeance on a Arrogant and power drunk civilization?

Many people will find such religious references inappropriate or not plausible. Atheists among you might suggest that it is entirely impossible.
But for those with a frame of reference of a Powerful Creator that knows what mankind is up to,
the idea that this hurricane is abiblical size disaster inflicted upon those civilizations that have lost their way, is not too far fetched.

It seems that in a religious frame of reference, this disaster makes perfect sense given the overwhelming injustice that the US is perptrating throughout the world throught both military policy and economic injustice.
