People have wondered how Dr. King would have continued his battle for equality in the Modern Era, and have concluded that the fight would have been more economic-based, an assertion with which I concur:

But without ordinary citizens on the front line, willing to sacrifice and to stand up to police and corporate abuse, we can only hope to slip back during times of (largely contrived) economic scarity and war. That's the plan, stan, and don't you forget it.
So get up off your knees and extract that corporate phallus, or that police baton from your mouths, and make a stand. If they fire you, get another job and make a movie and a big stink about it. Good government employees like Dep't of Labor Director Corey Surett still exist to help you:

Ana Crnilovic-Phillips, Devon Saywer and I all did it at American Tower and even though we and others all got fired, we rise again. She's got a law firm, he's taking the bar exam and I'm making a movie and have a multimedia presentation about to take hold on the East Coast and beyond.

And I'm certain that had I ever had the opporunity to meet Dr. King, or Mrs. King (I have met their offspring years ago as a reporter only) I am certain they would agree with me, just as Civil Rights pioneers Bill Moss and Loretta Heard did. Got footage of them supporting me, both in court and in Bill's studio for that matter.

How do we live the legacy? Just do it.
