OK: No shakup in Coburn campaign after all?

Schwarz is saying that he hasn't been forced out, that he simply left the state for a few days to attend a Concerned Women for America meeting.

Is this true? Were the OK Democrats wrong, or is this just a smokescreen to hide the campaign's problems? Is there any way this could backfire on Carson or the OK Democrats? Or is this just inside baseball?
