Ex-Security Chiefs Turn on Sharon

For all my past bewildered musings on whether Israeli society suffers from a form of mass insanity, when I see something like this, I have hope that the insanity will end.

Even though the situation is not as stark here as in Israel, What are the chances that our own version of a 'military solution to terrorism' will be revealed to be likewise intellectually and morally bankrupt?  Will the controversy in Israel fuel the issue here?
