When this guy gets on the fopulist pundit circuit the war machine is limbering up-he's the chief politico-military strategist. There are some clear signals that something is in the offing: 5,000 British troops are being shuttled around to Afghanistan; there is a massive allied bombing campaign on Syrian border; the Marines have been recycled into Iraq; US troops are building large bases in Azerbaijan and the heat is being turned up on dissent at home in the US. Syria would be the easier of the two targets given that the tanks and troops are already concentrating in Anbar province. However, Iran must be the ultimate target given the paranoid talk about Iranian nuclear weapons. Looking at the maps Tehran could be taken by a pincer movement originating in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, driving up the coastal road on both sides of the Caspian sea. Hormuz could be bombarded into submission and the Faw peninsular would fall in a few days. Get the Iranian Kurd and Azeris to rebel and Iran will fall apart just like Iraq did. Expect another 15,000 American casualties and a draft.
