I sure would like to see some of you adopt the Jim Davis campaign for Governor of Florida. Davis has served with distinction as Tampa's congressman. He is running a true statewide campaign based upon listening to people, not talking at them. He matches up well with the Republicans in head to head polling. The other candidate, Rod Smith, allegedly has charisma when he speaks though I haven't seen it. Both candidates have behaved so far and the party looks to be unified going into November. But Davis, in my book, is the person who understands policy and politics. Check this out below:
From the St. Pete Times Blog Buzz:
If Florida's governor's race were decided by netroots activity, Jim Davis would win. He has an active blog, his campaign makes a point of showing Florida's lefty blogger population plenty of love, and tonight he holds an online town hall meeting on his campaign website at 7 p.m. It's marks the conclusion of his "Keeping Florida's Promise" campaign swing through Florida.
