Kerry 31%
Dean 21%
Clark 16%
Edwards 11%
Lieberman 4%
"The latest Boston Globe/WBZ tracking poll, which a day earlier had shown him 3 points ahead of Dean, a statistical dead heat, found that 19 percent of respondents were more likely to vote for Kerry after Iowa, while 19 percent said they were less likely to vote for Dean, whose disappointing third-place finish was followed by a concession speech that has been fodder for talk radio and late-night television hosts.
"Even if they didn't hear his speech, they've certainly heard reaction to his speech," said Gerry Chervinsky, president of KRC Communications Research, which conducted the survey. "It's on the radio, it's on the TV, it's in the newspaper -- it's everywhere."
Chervinsky noted that the number of people who said they viewed Dean unfavorably had risen to 31 percent, up from 20 percent as recently as Sunday, while his favorability rating dropped to 49 percent. "He's in serious trouble," Chervinsky said."
