I have been going through some of these "Christian" web pages and have found many that are so ecstatic with what they are putting up regarding what the bible text says to support their agenda. Wonder if they will still feel that way if they knew they would go to hell for spreading false information about the holy book and the true mission they are suppose to be on regarding Christianity?
We have
Ruth Malhotra who wants to sue her college campus for the right to practice her religion to discriminate against homosexuals! She wants the school to remove all protections put up for the homosexual community so that her rights are not impeded. Amazing! This person obviously needs to be educated as to why those protections were even made and put in place to begin with!! If people didn't drag homosexuals around by tailgates on trucks, or beat homosexuals to death perhaps those protections wouldn't have been needed! Maybe if people like Ruth Malhotra didn't push the agenda of prejudice and hate this world would be much more peaceful. Perhaps invest your time in spreading peace, love, happiness, and acceptance instead, bigots! I really am getting fed up with these so-called "Christians" who are smudging my own belief system here!!
Nowhere in my bible does it say to hate. Nowhere does it say that God tells me to discriminate against those who are different from me and it doesn't tell me to judge, hate or discriminate against those who sin in other ways than I do. NOWHERE DOES IT SAY THAT GOD SAYS TO KILL as this bible study web page claims that God says!! These people are the dangerous ones! False
The agenda of these certain people is to find a way where it is welcomed so they can discriminate against homosexuals freely. They attempted the same thing during the Civil rights movement against the African Americans who wanted to be treated equal as well. The same thing can be said when it came time for women to be treated equally. Time and time again we see people attempting to use the bible to pass on some hateful, revengeful, oppressive sad agenda here in America.
Today I want to cover sodomy, sexuality and those sorts of things pertaining to bible passages and of course the news story I have included in this entry as well.
If you read the bible you would know there are only roughly 6 passages that refer to sodomy itself (I might have missed one or two that speak of sodomy, the action directly) and I am going to put them up because I have searched through some web pages who claim to be "Christian" works that are putting up false information about scripture!
The first passage will be found in Exodus 22:19
"Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal must be put to death.
Now there was one web page I found that kept repeating over and over that God says, God says, when in fact it isn't God says at all. They were referring to the passages in Leviticus. God NEVER said any of these things in Leviticus. Let us be clear on that, these are NOT God's words.
The second passage is Leviticus 18:22.
'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
Leviticus 18:23
'Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.
Leviticus 20:13 is the only one I found that even spoke of death and sodomy and for any Christian to attempt to tell people that these words were in fact God's own words is VERY WRONG INDEED! Remember also that Leviticus is found in the Old Testament. (For those who wish to verify of course)
'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
Now Leviticus 20:15 calls for death in this next passage too.
'If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal.
Neal Horsely did an interview on the Alan Colmes show which airs on the Fox news network. In the interview Neal Horsely admits to having sex with a mule! He is a strong GOP supporter and an anti-abortion extremist. You can read about that story here at another KOS diary. I just had to mention this one!! I mean another "Christian" claim here!
Leviticus 20:16 says,
'If a woman approaches an animal to have sexual relations with it, kill both the woman and the animal. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
Now tell me where does it say in those passages to harass homosexuals. Does it say to beat them to death by God's word? It is so bothersome how extreme the Christians want to be when it comes to pushing an agenda they believe in. I mentioned some of them earlier. We had civil rights, women rights, and now gay rights. Some even are attempting to discriminate against Muslims now.
Psalms 1 starts out saying,
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
Where mocking is included in the bible of two passages you end up finding two and they read like this,
Men at ease have contempt for misfortune
as the fate of those whose feet are slipping.
He who mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker;whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished.
The house of the Lord is to welcome all women and children. They are his children. No one is to be turned away for any reason of sins. Romans 12:10 says,
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
The main message is getting lost with those who wish to carry out deeds in God's name that does not fit the goal he has for mankind. For anyone who truly thinks that the bible gives them free reign to discriminate with hate, or to divide with difference, or to judge others without looking into the mirror because of a few passages you pull out of the holy book you hold so high, I suggest you read it all again first. After you read it perhaps you shouldn't thrown stones when you live in a glass house yourself! STOP GIVING TRUE CHRISTIANS A BAD IMAGE! AND STOP MOCKING GOD FOR YOUR PERSONAL GAIN AND AGENDA!
I guess I'll end with this. Matthew 9:36 says this,
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
