I frequently see statements that as an independent Nader will have trouble getting on the ballot in any state, but I've seen no serious analysis of this. I'd be grateful if any knowledgeable Kossacks could comment. Is this wishful thinking? What states will Nader have trouble getting on the ballot? Are they swing states? [I note from Dave Leip that as the Green candidate in 2000, Nader appears to have not been on the ballot in S. Dakota, Oklahoma, and N. Carolina - all irrelevant red states].
