Sorry, it's not the ten commandments, but I'm curious to know how fellow kossacks feel about this.
Currently the Lubbock county commissioners will hear testimony from defense attourneys who oppose the recent placement of a tablet on the courthouse lawn that was intended to be a memorial to crime victems, however defense attourneys argue that the presence of this memorial could sway jourors decisions.
What do you guys think?

I'm not sure how I feel about this, on the one hand I agree with the sentiment, of course I look at the statement as having a much larger significance than simply addressing criminal cases in a courtroom. However, I certainly see the point of the defense attourneys as this is placed as a Victems Memorial on a courthouse lawn.
One individual Patrick Metze, President of the Lubbock Criminal Defense Assoc. who opposes the tablet is quoted as saying
"the quote is inaccurately attributed to Benjamin Franklin and taken out of context of its original meaning."
"It encourages people to become outraged,"
