Returning to the comments of Frist, Falwell, Iyer,Scarborough, Delay, and others.
As prominent Consertatives, I'm sure you want to take responsibility for your spring comments.
Responses re: Schiavo:
To DOCTOR Frist: "I question it based on a review of the video footage....She certainly seems to respond to visual stimuli." Quoted from Richard Cohen. 'A Great Political Issue'. March 22, 2005, Washington Post.
I did observe that you said that you watched the tapes for more than an hour. Nevertheless, any vaguely competent physician knows better than to diagnose using video tape. So, that must make you....a Republican Senator?
This will be "a great political issue" for the Republicans. Yeah, I think you are definitely bright enough to lead the Republican Senators.

To Jerry FALWELL: You sated that, "[T]erri, who is not on life support, has never been on life support, she had a feeding tube in. A month ago, I had a feeding tube and I was on a ventilator, but I was not in a persistent vegetative state -- many people go through that. And Terri, Terri was not -- is not unconscious...I had a feeding tube down my nose, just like she. And thank the Lord, I'm out of it, and I preached two times this morning in my Easter services." CNN's Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer. March 27.
So, Mr. Falwell, you are saying that your March bout with pneumonia was like the Schiavo case. You got sick and your brain shrunk by more that 50% and no one noticed? I'm dreadfully tempted to say.... Note to self: "NO! NO! NO! That would be a bad thing to say."
Have you ever considered becoming a Republican Senator?

To Carla Sauer Iyer (Licensed Practical Nurse) and Heidi Law (nursing aide):
You reported having repeatedly given Ms. Schiavo milkshakes, jello, and other nutrition by mouth and you werefurious that Michael Schiavo got you fired for doing so despite Terri's obvious "delight" in the food.
Did you read the post-mortem? (Note: The post-mortem notes that Terri had multiple pneumonias secondary to aspiration of fluids.) Is it possible that a careful, loving, attentive husband would have been angry that you violated medical orders to give fluid to a woman with a history of aspiration pneumonia? (Or--because I'm a bit vague on the timeline--was it, by chance, your own "intervention" that lead to one of the aspiration pneumonias.) I see that you have now obtained an RN. (No one has credited you with a BSN so I assume that your RN is probably a 2-year community-college degree.) While you were in that program did anyone mention that you could be charged with murder for flaunting medical orders and causing a patient to die choking? If not, you might note it now. It's kind of an important thing to know.
Swallowing, like eye blinking and turning the head on physical stimulation, is a simple reflex. Terri was not unable to swallow. The neurologist was clear that she swallowed her saliva. She was unable to SAFELY swallow fluids.
P.S. DOCTOR Frisk, I noted that right away. Did you?
Note: When I mention the qualified neurologist, I don't mean Dr. Hammesfahr who thinks he can cure permanent stroke-related brain damage and thinks he had been "nominated for a Noble prize" because his Congressman Rep Mike Bilirakis, wrote a letter for him.
Hint to Mr. Bilirakis: I'd suggest that you do a learn how things like that are done--it involves scientific competence--before you make a proper fool of yourself.
Hint, Hint to Joe Scarborough (MSNBC): Is is "google" or "noble prize" that you can't spell.
Also, Joe, because I always have this question when your name comes up, what REALLY happened to, Lori Klausutis, the lovely young intern who was found dead in your Pensacola, Florida office just after your wife sued in that nasty divorce case and just before you yielded your one (1) term as "Congressman Joe"? I'm sure you remember Ms Klausutis, it was the situation where local law enforcement concluded that she passed out while working after hours and died from the concussion that occurred when she passed out--while working alone in the evening in Congressman's Joe's office--and died from bumping her head on the desk. (Don't you just hate it when that happens?)
I'm sure you remember Ms. Klausutis, she's the woman who's "history of medical conditions" (a history that no physician, friend, or family member has confirmed), were released to the media by your office even before family was notified of her death.
Isn't it nice to be "Congressman Joe" from Pensacola (panhandle), Florida? There are districts were the law might raise serious questions about the lovely young intern found dead, of a blow to the head, while working, alone, and after hours, in the office of a congressman who, a couple of months before, went through a very nasty divorce.

To Mr. Tom Delay
You stated that Michael Schievo is "not man enough" to do the right thing in taking care of his wife.
And, my question is, what do you know about manhood? Opps, I remember, your squirting hose kills bugs.
Every time you speak, I think of Newt Gingrich. I don't know how you treat your wife (do you have one, poor dear), but you treat the nation worse than Newt treated wife and country.
P.S. To Newt: I'm so sorry. I know that you have degrees, teach college, write books, and are much more intelligent than the "bug man" could ever be. I wasn't referring to "intelligence," I was thinking about morals. (Is that a word about which you have memorized the definition?)
P.P.S. To intelligent people everywhere: I didn't mean to equate Newt to real intelligence. I just meant manifestations: You know, degree; "subject verb agreement;" etc.
