Halliburton employees commit Fraud

Here is the smoking gun on Halliburton:

Oil services company Halliburton Co has told the Pentagon that two employees took up to $6 million in kickbacks for awarding a Kuwaiti-based company with work supplying U.S. troops in Iraq, the Wall Street Journal said on Friday. It is the first solid indication of corruption involving U.S.-funded projects in Iraq, and could expose the company to fines and potential fraud charges, the paper said.

This comes three weeks after Halliburton was
rehired without competition to bring fuel to Iraq, a story that was mostly ignored by the media:

The U.S. Army said on Tuesday it had granted Halliburton a special waiver to bring fuel into Iraq under a no-bid deal with a Kuwaiti supplier despite a draft Pentagon audit that found evidence of overcharging.

Will this story get legs and will criminal charges be brought against this corrupt company? I am skeptical, but I think its important to keep this story alive.
