Six figures. Almost.

I was on the road for much of Thursday, and when I finally hit my hotel room in DC (will be speaking at a conference Friday), my Kerry fundraising page was down. But the results of nearly four days of fundraising are in. The Daily Kos raised $36,816.

The near-final totals:

John Kerry: $39,509 through 499 contributors
Democratic Party: $59,221 via 621 contributors.

That's a total of $98,730. About $40,000 of that raised since Monday.

Now I'm going to go out on a very short limb and predict the final $1,300 will come in today.

Pat yourself on the back. This is real money for the effort to oust Bush, and the fact that over 1,100 of us have contributed (many, including me, for the first time) is pretty exciting as well.
