Governor Howard Dean had an idealistic goal - to compete with the $200 million GOP Presidential Warchest by getting 2 million people to donate $100 to his campaign. He fell a little short (though I stepped up for a half dozen donors myself).
I have a more modest goal.
- I don't have to equal my opponent's war chest with my internet fundraising.
- I don't have to get anywhere near 2 million donors
- I don't need to average $100 per donor.
My goal: $15 avg from 1000 people scattered across the nation and willing to forego one night of Dominos or Pizza Hut to retake a seat from the GOP leadership in one of the most economically battered states in the country.
