Why is it that G. W. Bush The Resident in the White House, proves that he is the dumbest Muther on the face of the earth .But we can only hope that, he will wake-up, well that won't happen.
Under this morons NO Child Left Behind program, the control over the schools of this country is left in the hands of the federal government. Or should I say that the federal government is blackmailing the system.
Under the No Child Left Behind, schools have to live up to a standard that would be ok if it was funded right. The congress and senate are cutting three percent from the program, and will only add less than one percent to special education.
What this means for the program is, they will take money away from the school districts and raise the standards that are truly unreachable now. I live in a small school district and one of the problems we are running into is that under this stupid program, we don't have the money to update books when they are needed, the computer program is laughable, and class sizes are to large. Due to the fact that the money isn't there for special education, and the children with those special needs are put into already overcrowded classrooms, were it is almost impossible for them to get what attention they need.
The lawmakers are giving up some of the pet projects, to keep from making deeper cuts. These morons are giving back ONE BILLION dollars so that we might have an education just above sub-par. Still they are cutting Pell Grants and medical training, also school lunches will see a cut.
For all the Bush Supporters, thanks to Bush putting so much of the asinine budget into the military, the children of the country will suffer as far as education. I am no fan of Arlen Specter, but he is just appalled by the cuts, and the lack of funding for the schools of the nation. Specter said, " It's scandalous" also he said that he may vote against the bill. "It's that bad,"Specter said.
A $453 billion defense bill, though nearly complete, is being held in reserve despite protests from the Pentagon. GOP leaders may use the politically unstoppable bill to carry other legislative freight.
The White House, working with House GOP leaders, has forced the Senate to give up on a series of budget tricks it used to add funding. The Senate has had to relent on plans to transfer $7 billion from defense to domestic programs.

I am glad that the Main Stream Media, is starting to get it out that the administration, lied to take us to war. The thing that really pisses me off is that it is hundreds-of-thousands of troops and civilians to late. Right from the start the bloggers have been telling the story, but it always got put down as, hate for the administration, or being sore losers.
I have been listening and voicing my thoughts in the political chat rooms for years, and we knew that the lies were told, documents were forged, and mushroom clouds were described. Now Bush is running allover the world telling, of how the democrats are sending mixed signals on the illegal invasion, and comes real close to calling them treasonous. As we all know if anyone is treasonous it is this administration, and as I have said before, "They should be tried, and if found guilty, punished to the full extent of the law. Yes I know what that is. ( I was ask that before, just saving time.)
The promotional spots on the cable news stations say stupid things like, "(P)Resident Bush is feeling the pressure, as questions about the lead up to the war surface." If these rating grabbing idiots would pay attention to what was going on, instead of covering local stories and pushing them national, they might of gotten the real news instead of the gossip style reports they are giving. Then again the public love to hear about other peoples troubles and hope they aren't the only screwed up family.
