We all know how the media declared that the Democratic Party was going to die out, since Howard Dean became DNC Chair. He was "too liberal," "too reactionary," "too loud."
"This is the RNC's dream."
"Dean will not end the year as DNC Chairman."
"Republican control, forever!"
But oh how things can change in a year. Bush is at 33%, Democrats lead big in the generic ballot poll, corrupt Republicans are going down, and taking control of Congress is suddenly a reality. If the Democrats sweep Congress in November, does Dean get any credit for it?
Does he deserve any?
