Choicepoint scandal is an opportunity for the Democratic Party to make serious political headway with Red State voters. I believe that personal privacy, as an issue, is a winner for progressives. Privacy issues have the potential to drive a deep wedge into the heart of the Republican base, and expose the lie that the Right is "anti-government."
