Could it be true? GOP doesnt really want to overturn Roe v. Wade

This had crossed my mind a couple of times over the last few years, but I always dismissed it as just too weird.

But what would the GOP do without their top issue? (Especially out here in the red-sticks where you can hear "Democrats are evil" coming out of the mouths of little kids)

Could it be the corporate GOP is just yanking the thc chain of the religious GOP (which makes a ton of sense) to get their votes, money and mindless, inane attacks on anything liberal.

Now we have Miers. Could it be so?

(or is it just that Bush needs his lawyer on the court because Plamegate is goin' all the way to the top!)
