Lamont victory is good news for the United States

For good or bad we live in interesting times.  It would be great to have a world filled with peace and justice rather than the wars that are tearing people apart.  This can happen, but it will not happen without the effort of good people everywhere.

Yesterday the citizens of CT took one step toward making this happen.

And we are glad to see it.

Democrats everywhere need to support Ned Lamont.  Not just because he is the candidate chosen by the voters of CT, but because the United States needs to have more voices added to the chorus of those calling for peace.

This is being written by the staff of Joe Roberts for Congress, reflecting Joe's view that Lieberman and the other war supporters need to go, no matter what party.

Joe Roberts agrees with Ned Lamont that we need to focus money and effort on resolving our domestic problems, rather than wasting it in Iraq.  And Joe says this with a long history of having served the United States military.
