I keep expecting a flood of new state polls to overwhelm us, and yet... nothing. Just little ol' ARG doing its daily think in NH.
And the news continues to be bad for Kerry. Today's numbers, in fact, have Clark creeping up into a tie for second.
Jan 2-4 Jan 3-5
Dean 39 37
Clark 12 14
Kerry 14 14
The shifts are small (as are wont in a tracking poll), but seeing second place threatened in Kerry's home territory must really drive a stake in his campaign's morale.
But enough with that. Here's what really grabbed my attention:
Clark's strength in the ballot preference continues to be among men. In the latest tracking, Dean leads Clark 30% to 22% among men and Dean leads Clark 43% to 7% among women.
Is there any doubt that Clark's weaknesses are Dean's strengths, and Dean's strengths and Clark's weaknesses?
Please team these two up!
