Question and Poll

A local progressive candidate running for an important position has asked a volunteer who has been quite involved in the local progressive movement to write their (don't want to ID "his" or "her" so will use "their) position papers without stating them first.

Question:  (And the answer might seem obvious but need to ask):  Is this standard procedure?
