Here's what I want to know: does anyone have any good pointers to examples of Clark's ability to electrify a crowd? I've heard people talk about this, but have been largely unimpressed with what I've seen (announcement, debates, news clips, etc).
For the most part, people seem -- to me, and I'm being honest here, not trying to insult anyone -- to be blinded by the four stars and what they assume that would mean vs. Bush. When I saw Michael Moore the other week, he went on and on about Wes's potential (whipping up the berkeley crowd) while quitely admitting that he didn't know where Clark stands on (m)any of the issues. This after he took Dean to task on relatively minor points, but I digress...
More than his lack of issue stances or record of governance, I'm personally worried that Clark doesn't have the chops to campaign, that he doesn't want it bad enough to give 110%, that he's letting his advisors drive, and that an "air war" against W won't be enough to give us victory.
But maybe I'll feel different if I can see the electricity?
