Once again, I am slacking at the office - and heeding the call of Democratic amusement.
The French, as anyone who's been to Paris knows, make an amazing pastry.
If you've ever had a really good French meal, you can begin to understand why despite the rudeness of Parisiennes people still go to visit them. Not to mention it really is an astoundingly beautiful city.
I say this not because I'm particularly enamoured of the French. It's more a sort of preamble to what today's poll is about.

America is famous around the world for our "can do" spirit. We export our popular culture to the entire globe, pretty much.
When this nation is dust - and I will not venture a guess when that will be - 10 years, 100 years, 1000 years - how will we be remembered? What will we be remembered for.
What will folks 5000 years hence think of us?
