New Zealand is pulling out of Iraq. It's only 60 engineers, and they've spent their time trying to rebuild schools and water supplies (and have
never fired a shot in anger), but it's another country leaving the shrinking Coalition of the less-willing-every-day.
The NZ government has announced no plans to replace them, or to the send combat troops in their place. And given the anti-war feeling in this country and the overwhelming opposition to Bush, they are highly unlikely to. New Zealanders simply don't see any reason why they should die for Bush's stupidity, or in support of a corrupt regime which tortures its own people.
