Reagan tax cuts (used to support them)
Social Security (supported individual retirement accounts)
the MX missile (supported it)
the draft (supported it)
chemical weapons (supported them)
abortion (used to oppose it)
gun control (used to oppose it)
school-supported prayer (used to support it)
war with Iraq (against it in 1991, for it in 2003)
