I was just
reading an article about how the army is stretch too thin, and then I had a scary thought.
As if the thought that our military has been stretched into a '"thin green line" that could snap' is not scary enough on its own, follow me to the flip for the scary thought I had.
Bush and his merry band of lawyers have argued Bush as Commander-In-Chief in a time of war has power to basically anything. They argue Bush can suspend habeas corpus, can spy on us, can torture, can ignore laws he has signed into being, etc.
So, what stops Bush from solving the issue of troop shortages with a draft?
I know, congress is supposed to instate a draft, but this a Commander-In-Chief in a time of war who has argued he can do--well, anthing.
